The Planning & Development Division offers a comprehensive multi-disciplinary package of services to undertake the assessment, planning, co-ordination, design and implementation of development projects which simplifies the Client’s task of co-ordination, but ensuring the Client’s full executive control of the project.
The Division is based in the Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow offices of Fairhurst, but has a range of clients throughout the UK and supports all other eleven offices in the partnership. Headed by Principal Director, Miles Walker, the Division offers a comprehensive multi-disciplinary package of professional design, planning, and landscape services that fall within the following key areas; Urban Design, Masterplanning, Development Planning, Landscape Architecture, Sustainability, Environmental Impact Assessments and Minerals & Waste Planning.
The Division’s aim is to provide a commitment to clients and constantly strive to meet high standards in the quality of work. Every project undertaken is considered individually, working to create a unique solution for each client in a sustainable manner.
The Division also has a rapidly expanding range of major public and private sector clients covering all realms of professional planning expertise. The positive staff, client and Local Planning Authority feedback is recognition of the Division’s success.
Another key to the Division’s success is that it prides itself on seeing development through from inception to physical construction and operation on site.
