Synopsis:

Paul is a partner in the firm with over 25 years experience. He is an engineering geologist by training with a background in rock engineering but in recent years has applied his skills to the field of contaminated land investigation and remediation.

He has extensive experience in consultancy and research related to engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, rock engineering, ground investigation, contaminated land assessment and remediation and due diligence related to infrastructure developments, commercial and retail developments, asset management, land acquisition and the extractive industry. Paul regularly provides Expert Witness services related to geotechnical engineering, engineering geology and environmental engineering.

Paul takes particular responsibility for the geotechnical and environmental services within Fairhurst and has developed an intimate working knowledge of environmental legislation as it applies to contaminated land, pollution of controlled waters and waste.
